Happy Thursday everyone! The weekend is almost here, yay! For this weeks post I decided using November’s Layout Sketch that Bev Code designed was going to be my starting point. This layout is about my brother’s dog Grover that recently passed away. So for his birthday I decided to make him a layout of Grover to hang on his wall at home.
For this layout I used:
Echo Park Woof Journaling
This is the sketch I used:
Bev really made a great sketch for this month! I had so much fun creating with it.
I did a lot of fussy cutting for this layout. The grass border and paw print border were both fussy cut and all the little flags for the banner were cut by hand.
The Doll Thickers made a nice bold title and were the perfect size. I added a few layers underneath my title for a little more color and added some splatters using some Heidi Swapp Color shines in Black and Chartreuse.
I cut a few more banners in the different patterns for the upper cluster on the layout and added 2 circle stickers from the Echo Park Woof Sticker sheet.
I love the way the borders look layered together with the banners tucked underneath. For the finishing touches on the layout, I used some Pebbles Candy Dots in Black on the paw print border.
I would love to see your take on the sketch! Thanks for stopping by!
